Also, this year Raksha Bandhan is special for the Nashikties as the first Shahi Snan of Kumbh Mela falls on the same day.As most of the roads will be closed due to the Shahi Snan, Nashikites are planning to celebrate the festival in the coming week. And to make Raksha Bandhan a special one, the city markets have been filled with the trendiest and quirkiest rakhis this year. From rakhis with Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s figure to Minion rakhis, the shops are selling the coolest rakhis ahead of Raksha Bandhan this year.

Anuja Thete, a customer, said, “There are many designs available in the market before Raksha Bandhan. And it is really difficult for me to decide which one to choose for my brother.” Priced anything between Rs 30 and Rs 100, these quirky rakhis are surely a hit among the youngsters of the city.
